Chris
"Thanks to Drone U and all the training materials you provide, I passed my Part 107 with a 97% yesterday. The study guide, livestream (replays), and practice tests were particularly helpful. I think I took those practice tests at least 10 times until I was getting near perfect scores on a consistent basis. I felt extremely confident going in to take the test and I finished in 25 minutes (the fastest they'd seen)."
Graham
"Just passed my Part 107 exam today with a 97%! I had access to TheDroneU’s test prep modules for just under 2 weeks. If you want to pass your Part 107 exam, this is the place! Pay attention and take notes! I used a few outside sources to fill in information but I really didn’t need it on the actual test. I would absolutely recommend TheDroneU Part 107 Test Prep to anyone looking to pass the Part 107 exam."

Scott

Who needs a Part 107 license?

In order to operate a drone for any commercial activities within the United States, it is mandatory for individuals to possess a Part 107 license issued by the FAA. The FAA's definition of commercial activities is comprehensive, encompassing anyone who earns money through drone-related endeavors, such as generating revenue from advertisements on platforms like YouTube. Various professionals, including real estate agents, roofers, photographers, cartographers, influencers, and first responders, are utilizing drones to enhance their outcomes and achievements.

Who is considered eligible to obtain a Part 107 license?

Individuals who are at least 16 years old, possess the physical and mental capability to operate a drone, and are proficient in spoken and written English can pursue certification. It is not necessary to be a citizen of the United States. Once these prerequisites are met, the next step is to successfully pass the 60-question Part 107 exam in order to obtain the license.

How much does it typically cost to sit for the Part 107 exam?

Taking the Part 107 exam incurs a fee of approximately $175, and an FAA authorized center administers it. We do not receive any portion of your testing fee. It is crucial to study before taking the exam as the testing fee is non-refundable. In the event of exam failure, a waiting period of two full weeks is required before retaking it.
